NICMAR 2010 admissions announced

NICMAR is a leading educational Institute run by the Indian construction industry. NICMAR is an autonomous, non-government, non-profit academic body, incorporated in India as on September 1983 as a ‘Society’ and a public charitable ‘Trust’. It is recognised by Government of India as a Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation - SIRO.

The application forms can be procurred from NICMAR offices or can be downloaded from website. The last date of submission of application forms is December 01, 2009.

PGP ACM : Post Graduate Programme in Advanced Construction Management

Two-year, full time, residential Programme for degree holders, offered from Pune, and Hyderabad.
This is a flagship campus studies course of NICMAR started with UNDP/ILO technical assistance. Syllabus developed with cooperation of MIT, USA. This unique two year programme trains techno-managers for the construction industry and value leading to career prospects.

PGP PEM : Post Graduate Programme in Project Engineering and Management

Two-year, full time, residential Programme for degree holders, offered from Pune.

Projects growing in size and complexity are creating enormous need for professionally educated, Project Engineers and Managers capable of meeting the increasing demand in Engineering, Execution and Management of the multidisciplinary projects in Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum and Chemical fields along with Telecom, Pharmaceutical, Automobile, Services and other sectors. This two year full time Post Graduate programme programme aims at developing professional project managers with the skills to solve the multifaceted project management problems of all these business sectors.


PGP REUIM : Post Graduate Programme in Real Estate And Urban Infrastructure Management

The PGP REUIM is the newest addition to the NICMAR academic programme portfolio. The inter-disciplinary PGP REUIM builds upon the concepts and methodologies of management, engineering, architecture, law, information technology, urban economics and behavioural sciences to combine theory with practice.

GATE 2010 Announced

GATE 2010 will include both ONLINE and OFFLINE examinations as per the following details:

ONLINE Examination : Examination using computers where the candidate will select the correct answer out of four options with the help of keyboard and mouse for TF : Textile Engineering and Fibre Science and MN : Mining Engineering
OFFLINE Examination : Examination in the usual manner as in the previous years where the candidate will mark the correct answer out of four options in an Optical Response Sheet (ORS) by darkening the appropriate bubble.

The question papers will be in English only.
